Places to Visit:

Santa Fé Island:
Santa Fé Island is named after the Capitulations of Santa Fe, where Christopher Columbus was granted titles and authority for his discoveries. The island pays homage to Admiral Samuel Barrington. With an area of 24 km² and a maximum altitude of 259 meters, Santa Fe boasts the largest forest of Opuntia cactus in the archipelago, along with palo santo trees. The island features a stunning turquoise lagoon and tranquil waters where you can snorkel alongside playful sea lions. Its coastal cliffs provide a habitat for swallow-tailed gulls, petrels, and other tropical bird species. Santa Fe is home to a large population of terrestrial iguanas, including the endemic Santa Fe land iguana, as well as lava lizards.

Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach):
Playa Escondida, also known as Hidden Beach, is a picturesque destination on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos. This beautiful beach is teeming with marine life, welcoming visitors with the presence of white-tip reef sharks, golden stingrays, eel rays, and sea turtles. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Playa Escondida and discover the enchanting underwater world it has to offer.
