Places to Visit:

• Tijeretas Hill: A trail built with cut stone, which crosses a forest that leads to observation points of the fascinating coastal landscape and the native flora and fauna. This trail culminates in a cove of calm waters, where you can practice water sports and observe nature.
• Mann Beach: Mann Beach is of little slope and of white and soft sand, it is ideal to take the sun and to bathe. It has masterful landscapes, its main attraction being the beach. It is a small rocky beach that on weekends is packed by people. It is quite rocky and you will usually observe the lions, it is a beautiful beach for swimming and sunbathing.
• Punta Carola: The beach has an area of approximately 300 meters, which is made up of dry forest vegetation. On the beach there is a large colony of sea lions among the vegetation and marine iguanas are present on the rocks. On this site you can practice surfing.

Places to Visit:

• Española Island: Called thus by the first city of America (its name in English honor viscount Samuel Hood). With its 60 km² it is one of the smaller islands that make up the archipelago of the Galapagos, and is the oldest of all, since it has about 3.5 million years of existence. Although it is uninhabited, it is home to several animal species of interest, such as the endemic Spanish mockingbird, the albatross, blue footed boobies, the Galápagos turtledove, the bifurcated gull, the marine iguana and the lava lizard. Among the visitors, the Gardner Bay, which has a beach renowned for its beauty, and Punta Suarez, of interest for bird watching are especially popular.
• Gardner Bay: is an about 1 km long beach that is among the most magnificent in all Galápagos. It is home to many sea lion colonies and the turquoise colored water makes a beautiful contrast to the white sand that consists of shell dust. On the rocks mingle big marine iguanas and sally light-foot crab. Mocking birds fight for their territory and inspect the backpacks of the tourists. About 50 m of the coast there is a rock where you can encounter tropic fish and rays while snorkeling. But more spectacular is the Gardner Rock that can be reached with a panga. It is home to white-tipped reef sharks and other colorful sea dwellers and very popular among snorkelers.

Places to Visit:

• Sleeping Lion: It consists of two vertical walls with a channel in the center that offers a paradise for sharks and other species of fish, such as barracudas and rainbow fish. The walls are strikingly colored almost certainly will have sightings of great marine wildlife, including octopi and many sharks like: hammerhead shark, white-fin reef shark, and freshwater turtle sharks. Other marine creatures that are found are turtles, rays, and sea lions.

• Brujo Hill: The main attraction is the coral sand beach as well as a variety of flora and fauna species. It is an eroded tuff cone, which in some of its parts, is composed of lava. The citizens of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno used to extract salt to preserve cod fish, meat from their farms, and tortoise meat. This is a place to observe marine birds. Brujo Hill offers an excellent landscape from which you may see León Dormido, the south of the highest part of San Cristobal, and the adjacent coast. Two halophyte species grow here in soils rich in salt.

• Tunnels: This is one of the most spectacular snorkeling sites in Isabela, the water is shallow, calm, and very clear, a marine sanctuary. A series of lava flows have produced unique geological formations, a series of arches and tunnels, below and above the water, where a large number of endemic Galapagos species live. The entrance to the site is not deep and the waves can be very strong, for this reason, access to this place is not always very feasible. The best time to visit Los Túneles is between January and May.

• Wetlands: The Wetlands of Isabela Island are located just outside of Puerto Villamil. The Wetlands consist of lagoons, swamps, and mangroves and are home to a variety of unique bird species such as common stilts, whimbrels, white-cheeked pintails, and gallinules. The Wetlands can be visited on foot via a path that winds through the swamps.

• Flamingo Lake: To the west of Puerto Villamil there are various salt and brackish lagoons which house an impressive variety of coastal and sea birds. Here, visitors can also find the largest concentration of flamingos in Galapagos.

• Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center: The Tortoise Breeding Center (also known as the Interpretation Center) is located nearby Puerto Villamil. A boardwalk connects the town to the Center, stretching across the wetlands and Prickly Pear Cacti shrub. Five sub-species of the Giant Tortoise exist on the island, yet their populations are threatened by introduced animals such as goats and cats. At the Tortoise Breeding Center, eggs are nursed in a hatchery and the giant tortoise adults are observed in supervised corrals. The Center aims to increase the population and secure the survival of these species.

• Tintoreras: The Tintoreras Islets, located a short distance from Puerto Villamil, is home to a great variety of wildlife. Its turquoise, crystalline waters are inhabited by white-tipped reef sharks, Galapagos penguins, marine turtles and sea lions. One of its beaches, surrounded by mangroves is one of the few sites where marine iguanas can reproduce successfully.

• Bartolome Island: Named in honor of Sir Bartholomew Sulivan of the British Navy. It has an area of ​​1.2 km² and a maximum altitude of 114 meters. This island offers some of the most beautiful landscapes of the archipelago. The island is composed of an extinct volcano and a variety of red, orange, green, and bright black volcanic formations. The lava cactus of the Galapagos colonize the new lava fields. On this island is the famous Pinnacle, which is one of the most representative places of the archipelago. Place to Visit:

• Twin Craters: The Twin Craters are, in fact, not craters. These impressive holes were formed by magma (lava) domes which hardened on the outside but continued to flow on the inside, leaving huge but empty chambers that collapsed with the passing of time, creating this breathtaking scenery that resembles two pit crates. The Twins are located in the highlands of Santa Cruz Island and are surrounded by lush and green forests, dominated by the endemic Scalesia plants. It is possible to walk along the rim of the craters to better appreciate the magnitude of the holes as well as the local flora and fauna. This site is also one of the most likely places to observe the endemic short-ear owl of the Galapagos.
